I did a very 'authorish' thing today.  I grabbed my favorite booth in my favorite lunch spot and spent the afternoon going over the Gamble's Run galley proof.  I've never done anything like that before.  It was a blast.  I also got a lot of work done.  I usually like quiet when working, but the steady ambient noise of people talking, the clatter of plates and the smell of good food seemed to help me focus.  If you are in the Tampa Bay area, or plan on visiting.
